I've got an interesting issue here and I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out with it.

I recently upgraded to Office 2007 (I was curious about the beta ) BUT it doesn't wanna play with ActiveSync 3.8. I've looked it up and apparently Outlook 2007 is only compatible with ActiveSync 4.2. But I have a Cassiopeia A-11A running CE 2.0, so upgrading isn't gonna help one bit.

So, is there a solution to this? Or I am gonna be stuck with Office 2003? (I don't want that, I've warmed quite nicely to Office 07..)

Okay, I was reading about it and some sites say they are not compatible.. My first suggestion before going back to the great 2003 (in my opinion ), reinstall ActiveSync 3.8 and Outlook 2007..

I gots it working, for those who are interested. Just reinstall ActiveSync 3.8 over the top again, the setup program will ask if you want to do a reinstall. Now they are playing along quite nicely

Thanks for the idea, tenjeangosi. But there is no need to reinstall Outlook '07 (which was a relief). Cheers!

Well, I am glad they work together, and I hope they still do when Office 2007 is out of BETA.. I dont care much for 2007 though yet, I like the older look to 2003
