BSQUARE+802.11 WLAN SD Card

Hi@all!

I have a problem,like the most of you here.I bought an SD-Wlan Card and it does not work with my Bsquare Smartphone.The problem is,that my Bsquare has the WIN CE 4.1 and the Card has only driver for WIN CE 4.2
Question:Is there a possibility to use the Wlan card with my smartphone?I could install it without a message,but I can not use it because of the driver.

Which model of Wlan card are you using? It's possible that some drivers written for CE 4.2 can be edited to work on 4.1 without any problems. I know because I've done it

The one I have is the Spectec SDIO Wifi. If that's what you have too, then we already have the drivers edited - just ask cmonex for a link

Hi, I do own a BSquare Power Handheld also, I would like to upgrade it to a later version of CE, is this possible? If yes, could you please tell me how.

Any street finder and dictionnairy work with this device? Please advise.

I would like to thank you for the driver.
I also could use the driver from CMONEX.Thank´s to you too.
There is one thing what I´d like to use on my BSQUARE is SKYPE.
I don´t know,but maybe some of you guys did make it that Skype works with WIN CE 4.1

Sorry,but I can´t find "htmlview.dll" so I can´t delete it.
The SD-Wlan driver works like the one of yours.
Only when I turn it off the smartphone and than turn it on does not work.So I find out when I reset,than it works again.Is that normal?

By the way,did you get my mail?

Windows CE Explorer's default setting hides DLL files. You have to unselect that setting from the "View" menu. Or better yet, use Total Commander, which shows all files including some that remain hidden if you try the above setting in Explorer.

I already did,but it works the same like with yours.There is no icon for SD-Wlan to start.
Now to SKYPE.There is no HTML.dll.All what I have under the letter H.dll´s is:hrts_dll.dll than I have here mshtml.dll.Is that maybe what you mean?
I am going to send you again the SafeCom drivers.

i meant if the skype package contains a htmlview delete that but maybe it is not needed.. i was fiddling with this a long time ago. got mails in, thanks, i'll answer them soon

Hi folks,

I have a problem with my socket WLAN card (the old red one) in my Bsquare PHH. The driver from Maui_Beta_5_socketwlan.zip package where installed and the movianVPN portion modified.
My 512 mb SD storage card was removed from the slot and the socket card pushed into the now empty slot. Then reset.

When I try to start the card there is an error message that there is no card. Also the LED of the card is still off.
My firmware is 1.52.4041 from Feb.2004.
Is there anything else what I have to do?
What test can I run to check that the card itsself is ok and my installation is wrong?
