Waited over 1 week, Still my card has not shown. Others apparantly waited a month or never received what they paid for. No response to e-mail.

On my 680E, The OS says CE 2.11. But so far everything is in working order. Even the backup battery.

You can report a problem with eBay and get them to resolve for you.

I just got my 680e yesterday.........even though it's refurb i am very impressed with this little thing.

Also today I received a wifi card for it. Got it here: http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4021837

Installed the card and drivers no problem........however I am getting a very weak signal (2 bars) and when I try to access Internet Explorer and go to a website nothing is working. I don't know if I need to manually configure IP settings or something..........what am I doing wrong?

Just contacted PayPal about the matter.

Where were these deals when I was scouting for my wifi card??

I also bought a Jornada 680e from Tiger Direct. I was suprised to find out that you can't upgrade the unit to 32megs because HP discontinued it. Can the Rom Module from the 790 work? Or is there an after market place to find parts?
I'm a bit disappointed in Tiger Direct for offering an item that can't be upgraded when their advertisment said it could.

Nope, the upgrades for MobilePros are only for well ... MobilePros. For the HP upgrades, I believe u can find it online ... google it. Or C:Amie, PS, tot someone mentioned about some upgrades from some online stores?

Oh no, just got mine and tried to load the CD into my Dell laptop. I got an error message that "Director Player 6.0 needs 3MB of virtual memory to load". Not good because MSINFO32 says I have 1.96 GB of virtual available. Am I missing something or do I have a bad CD. I can read the files just fine, just cannot execute the HP startup file. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, false alarm. Apparantly the program only looks at the number (1.96 is less then 3) rather then GB vs MB. I reset my virtual memeory and was able to load the program. Howeber, I did not see Active Sync 3.o on the CD. It says it is located on the "Desktop Software for the Jornada CD". My only CD says HP Jornada CD-Rom and does not have the ActiveSync software on it. Anyone else unable to locate the ActiveSync software?

...never mind, I promise not to ask any more questions until I use this some more...the ActiveSync software is in the Outlook 200 packet, not on the HP CD..duh!

I want to buy a Jornada 680E but i will use it as a mp3 machine with the cf card! is it a good idea? i can have it from a friend for 50 $
