Hello All

I stumbled upon your website, after searching ebay for endless days in search of a mobile pc, originally i wanted a tapwave zodiac, then a pocket pc.

I've been looking into these handheld pcs a bit, and decided, that either a 680 or a 720 might be right for me

I've seen a few of them(mainly 680's) go fairly cheap on ebay in recent days

Is it possible to get a HP Jornada 680/720(highly unlikely) with included sync cables and such, for under $50usd?

Sincerely

Ryan

There's a good chance of getting a 680 for that.

If you got a 720 for that, I would Seriously Urge you to go buy a lottery ticket.

Lol, yea, thats what I figured.

I hope i can get a 680 for that sum though, as the school semester begins in a week, and a 680 would be highly benificial to many of my courses...
...Plus,..well, these HPC's have an undeniable "cool" factor to them

Of that there is no denying.

Have you looked at the likes of TigerDirect? As you are in North America, it may be faster for you than waiting for one to come up as available here.

I tried to do a search on tigerdirect, but i came up empty handed. I've had a look at some local used palm retailers, with no luck. I've looked at all the bigger sites, ebay, ubid, tigerdirect, and haven't forund a whole lot on them(ebay has a few, but im sure, ill be outbidded) I'm continuing to look around still, is there anywheres else i should look?

I'm just glad i found this site, and hope someone can aid me in my search

Have a search of the forum, there are often posts popping up with people recommending mass resellers, some of them may still be active, even if TD isn't.

Argh, I really hate ebay...I had my eyes on several 680's...and were out bid 3 times within the last 20 minutes of the items time limit,...And i was beat by one of those automatic bid placing programs...They should be outlawed!!!

Cmonex, Are they hard to assemble like that?...I'd preferbly like to get one in working condition, but if its well documented, and failry easy, than ill consider that route..

I'm really wanting one...soo badly that i spent 3 hours today clicking refresh on ebay, to see if any 680's popped up....

Anyone out there willing to sell?

Err.... I'm somewhat getting a bit desperate, I thought perhaps I could braoden my search. I'm now looking for an HPC similar in functionality of a jornada, with a colour screen, and winCE,..Preferably, I'd like it to have a built in keyboard, but a tablet style device would suffice....

..Anyone?....

Unit size?.....well, I'd like something small enough that i can slip it into my bag easily, basically, as long as its not overly huge, any size would suffice

I might have a Jornada 680e, Dutch Railways conversion unit for sale soon. Works great, will include a wifi card, cf card, ac adapter, case and a great battery.
I'm asking $125 plus shipping, that's what I paid for it.

Thanks,
Ron
