Ericsson MC12/ HP 320 LX - fails to connect to my new PC

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone knows why my trusty old Ericsson MC12 (HP 320 LX) palmtop will not connect up to my new Dell pc (running XP) ? I have loaded up the s/w CD's which came with it, but the pc just will not 'see' it. It used to work fine with my old pc (running Windows 98), until that pc developed a problem and had to be replaced.

I've had a pc support technician look at it and he suspects the supplied drivers are out of date and that I need to find newer ones for XP.

Your views would be most welcome, as I want to be able to backup the data from the MC12 and am worried it might eventually die and I'll loose everything on there.
