I often wonder when i download a piece of software on the hpc that doesnt seem to work or screws up all the time if it is the software its self or a conflict with other software installed & does everyone get this problem? there are so many diffrent reasons i'm sure......but i just wonder why its avalible for download on a site for a long time and others if there is truly somthing wrong with it.......
there are 2 peices of software that come to mind i never was able to get to work that i would have really liked to.... conduits pocket flash, & the yahoo messenger for hpc pro...( connection problem there?)
Y!IM is easy.
They locked down the network to unsecured clients and older versions of their own client. It hasn't worked since 2002. You will need a jabber client such as Imov.
As for flash, do you mean Conduits Pocket Spark. If so i know how to get the player working. Not the IE module though.
The primary dll in the redists are corrupt you see. They never checked the binary.
