On my Netbook Pro Jscript is no longer working in Internet Explorer.
Switching it on and off in the option menu changes nothing
Is there a key in the registry where I can check and change?
how did you manage to break it? i recall something very faintly how that can be done.. but tell me please

Hmm...don´t know how I managed to switch off scripting.
This already happened some time ago. Then I did a hard reset to get rid of it.
Now I´m looking for another way.
iirc installing a software will break it but i cannot remember for the life of me which software it was

I already thought of this.
Don´t know which piece of software this should have been
Anywhere, there should be something in the registry that switches Jscript on or off, shouldn´t it?
VBscript? Hm..how can I check this?
File date of jscript.dll is 30/11/2005.
Registry key as you mentioned is avaiblable. There are three sub-keys:
InprocServer32 (default=jscript.dll, ThreadingModel=both)
OLEscript (nothing in there)
ProgID (Default=Jscript)
