network shares ?

Help! I can't gt my 900c to access my office network.
I've tried UNC name= \\server\share
I've tried IP address
Password and user are ok.

I've tried to use the address bar and let it show the shares= nada.

I used the same data as for my XP laptop.

No, some weird network prog. Our I.T. guy that set it up is a sys admin, and way over educated for our little company.

With a Windows box, either XP or 2000, I can just type- "\\server\share or xxx.xxx.x.x\share" and I will be prompted for user and password.

No problem, CE devices have been a problem form day one.

Nope! I tried to connect thru Total Commander\\lan. When I clik the connection nothing happens.
I tried the CE utilities- ping, and host look up, I can ping the internet, any site, just nothing in house.
I tried my PPC 2003 and I can't connect with it either.
