State of HPC Pro Doom

I've been trying to get Doom to work on my PenCentra 200 with a limited degree of sucess.

The above thread was fairly helpful and led me to this site http://home.freeuk.com/gamefreaks/pql/ . I first gave HPC Doom a try and failed. Then I with through the other varients: got gfDoom to start but it freaked on loading and Doom Legacy got to the menu and crashed. I tried putting HPC Doom in the main directory with the folder named HPC Doom. Amazingly it started, saw the doom1 demo WAD, and proceded to load. Then more failure. The game noises started playing fine but the loading progress screen was still up plus a few pixel wide moving strip on the left side of the screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: On a seperated note entirely I installed the Iomega Clik USB drivers and my roommates USB Pen Drive showed up! woot! I'll test it on my brothers cameras tomorrow.

Ok I know this subject has probably been beat to death but I'm really close to getting HPC Doom to work. When I press certain keys like Escape and Control the game noises respond. Control seems to be the fire key and such. I tried useing the -fixvid command line switch and the did nothing. It just seems like the screen won't completely refresh to the game screen. If its any help I've tried playing videos with TCPMP nothing shows up, not even a sluggish video but the sound track plays fine. I know GAPI/GameX doesn't exist for Windows CE 2.11 but I think I prolly just have some stupid little setting wrong.

maybe try the dummy gx's for 2.11 at http://www.age.jp/~k-matsu/CE/dummygx/ though they are for other mips 2.11 machines, so backup before you try.
