| Just wondering, do any of you know where I could get handwriting/character recognition software for the PA-2400W? Someone offered to sell me one, but before I get it I need to know I that these input methods are still available somewhere...
Cheers,
Sam |

| Calligrapher at Phatware is the most excellent handwriting recognition program and it has versions for all hpc types. |

Please let me know if that is the one that works on 2.0. Otherwise, I have it in another folder.
No dice. It says the device is not the correct operating system version. Edited by CE Geek 2006-10-06 6:05 AM

| Okay, hopefully the one below is the right one. The text file in the zip says 2.0 or better and the zip is labeled 21, which is the version MSCDEX said works on Windows CE 2.0. Let me know if this one works. |

Strange, the cab from pnotepad21e.zip
PocketNotepad 2.1 was the last version to support CE 2.0 by looking at the archives for the Tillanosoft PocketNotepad page. I have contacted the developer and I will see what we can do. |

Should I byte it off? (Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Geez, I'm in a silly mood. ) I'll edit it out and see what happens.
EDIT: That did the trick! Installed fine after I deleted the last byte. Also, the app EXE itself that quiche posted works fine. Thanx, folks.
Nice little program, but I thought you were saying that it can be used for handwriting notes. Maybe I misunderstood. (Wouldn't be the first time. ) Edited by CE Geek 2006-10-07 2:35 AM

| CEGeek, if you mean notes in handwriting, then -no- pnotepad doesn't do that. Maybe Calligrapher has that function. |

| It is just a pad for making txt file notes. It does handwriting recognition - that is with a good program like Calligrapher. |
