Is this a solid state experiment, or have you come across a good thing?

I have loads of them, however it isn't likely to be economical to post.

Kinda yeah...eliminate DVDs almost completely, trying to come up with a automatic water temp regulator for the showers, stuff like that. Just bored with a little bit of money. Two bad combos. I am also a big DIYer. I would rather build it myself then buy it off the market. I know there is one of those shower temp regulators on the market already but it is way to expensive.

We should start a thread in Off Topic about how some of us have adapted computer hardware (either H/PC or non-H/PC) for our own automation purposes. Automation is, after all, the most common use of Windows CE today, isn't it?
