Hello peopless!

Yesterday I pluged my Adaptec SlimSCSI PCMCIA Card to get an older SCSI CD-ROM Drive run on my NEC MobilePro 770.

Result:
The drive appear on screen and I browsed the VCD CD-ROM (tryed to play into TCPMP ). Finally I ejected the CD from the Drive, ejected the PC Card and tryed to get more CDs files into NEC MP770 Storage Card BUT when I finnaly pluged the card on slot, it doesnt identified the CD-ROM.
What happens?
- Incorrect cable (DB 25 pin to HE 50 pin incorrect pinout?)
- I fried the CD-Drive?
BY installing CE 2.0 Version of adaptec SlimSCSI software drivers, Adaptec CD-ROM Explorer tell that "Sparrow.dll is not loaded, make sure you have inserted PC Card into the PCMCIA slot... 'Click' yes... bla bla bla".
Now I come back to asking:
- I fried the PCMCIA Card?

Please,
Anyone can help me?

No, soft reset doesn't help.
I tryed reinstall driver, but... nothing.

A crazy thing are very strange:
on System Properties (Device tab), on Expansion Slot 2 doesn't reported any PC Card name while SlimSCSI are inserted. I got only TOSHIBA_THNCF256MMA_ on Expansion Slot 1.

Its normal?
