Hi,
I was looking for a database that would work on my Symbol MC1000 terminal. Running Win CE4.2 .Net Core. I know I can get some for my Pocket PC etc but I can't seem to get one to work on the Symbol.
Any ideas?
Thanks

You should be able to run MS SQL Server Mobile on it, and if you are programming the native ADOCE stuff to build a system database, or were you thinking more in terms of a user mode system like Pocket Access?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I was thinking in terms of something like Pocket Access. There is an access database on the desktop pc that i want to synch data to.

I didn't think that SQL Server Mobile ran on CE 4.2? only CE 5.0?
Kind Regards,

Perfect! Thank you.
One of the database options was Visual CE from Sybase - works well on the handheld pc.

I can easily create a nice interface on the handheld and sync it to the access database on the desktop.

You're bloody brilliant
