cmonex - afterwards I saw your choice - Mobilon HC-4100. I almost won that item a few times on Ebay.

The AA adapter (takes 4 AA) is sold by Alan CompuTech. They also do show up on eBay from time to time. MCBA10 or MC-BA10 are good search terms, as well as MobilePro AA.

Wow, the battery pack only requires 4AA batteries, that's very decent .. Does this pack work on the MP900, BTW?

I went to the link and it said for MP 770. Would it also work for MP 790?

Thanks - some good news tonight. So then I would no longer need a MP 700, if MP 790 will do batteries. How long will 4 batteries last on the MP 790, CEGeek?

I do not mean to barge in this conversation, but as isotherm said earlier, the pack should last about 5-6 Hours-with wifi..

Yes, I read the old post. Are these 2500mah NIMH batteries - rechargeable batteries?

Soitenly. Not hard to find, either - I have 2400 mAh NiMH batts, which work quite nicely. (You can use them in your PA-2400W too.)

No I can't. I just tried with 2500 mAh NiMH batteries that I just bought. They are doing well in my HP360lx but won't work in my Casio PA-2400W. The only batteries that work in the Casio are Alkaline batteries. The adapter even has labeled on it Alkaline.
