| Does anyone know if gmail mobile (m.gmail.com) work with Ce 2.0? It works fine on my 2.11 device, but I have a feeling 2.0's IE won't support it's encryption. How limited is web browsing in 2.0?
Cheers. |

| SSL, Even on the wap site?
There is two versions of Gmail as well, Standard and Basic, It automatically detects what you are using and suits fit for it. |

| I think the nPOP for CE 2.0 doesn't support SSL either which means it won't work for gmail's pop3 access. m.gmail.com is XHTML. and can be loaded in a regular browser too if desired... I think if you access it via WAP it LOOKS like the compact version, but is slightly different - not sure if that needs SSL. Anyone with ezWAP on CE 2.0 able to give it a shot just to see if the login page loads? |

| You only know when you try. I didn't think I would get my hotmail (Windows Live Beta) or Google or university mail on my Eplate OS 2.11, but it did.

My handheld is not 2.0 it has 3.0 on it.
3.0 outlook still doesn't have ssl
but on 3.0, you can use npop or qmail3 for ssl fine - qmail3 does work with gmail, dunno for sure about npop Edited by cmonex 2006-10-31 9:05 PM
