| Ok I called Intermec in the States, they do repair the 6651 but for $500.00 US, this is due to not being under warranty.
They no longer sell the batteries but sent me to a place that buys and bought of their 6651 battery stock.
Ok just got off the phone with the repurchaser and they have NONE in stock.

| oh so many bad news
so if you want a spare battery you need to find a defective intermec with a good battery.
| |
| Im still working on it. Intermec will fix everything that comes under the normal wera and tear.

| What's the story behind this problem?
I do all sorts of wonky hardware work, so I'm curious as to what I can do to help.

| Just to replace the battery or cells.

| be careful when recelling the battery. it is an "intelligent" battery, you need to reprogram it or recell it with that trick mentioned in another thread (the old and then the new cells should have a certain charge level when doing this) | |

| up for the masses.
