if you would describe what exactly you did, what steps, etc.. that would make it easier to specifically help you - and turn off capslock

calm down, breathe, and describe the problem and the steps you're taking. When you say HPC explorer, do you mean internet explorer on the HPC? Because that won't work...

Handheld PC Explorer, the WinCE 1.0 sync client.

I suggest you go back to CESDC0002 and read the footnotes.

What is not working? How're you connecting exactly? Perhaps, you could attempt under Windows ME first, you can install HPC Explorer fine, as it is Windows 9x. Under ME, just connect as normal, do not follow the tutorial under ME.. You must use the tutorial for Windows 2000 and XP, mind you.. Is the HPC set to sync via Serial or IrDA or etc?

Take a chill pill. Last I checked, being irrational does not get people anywhere. Considering how many times H/PCs have been successfully connected to PCs, it is obvious that it can be done. Although, it is probably easier on the operating system the software was designed for.

Post your exact problem, screenshots, anything necessary. How did you follow the tutorials? What happened? Facing up and screaming to the gods gives us nothing to go on.

I had the same problems.
maybe its your cable. in my problem was windows itself, but as you have tested in more than one OS (mine A-11 refused to conect to two diferent XP´s, but worked fine with a fresh 2000 instalation)
