Hello. I have a Vadem Clio 1000 with ActiveSync 3.8. Recently I tried to connect to and synchronize with my pc (with Windows xp), I keep getting this message:

"Cannot start communications with the destop computer. Remote Networking couldnot start due to a critical error (Error 602)."

What does this mean? What should I do? I was able to connect and synchronize in the past.

Thank you!

Did you recently install a driver onto your handheld? I once had a critical error and it was due to a recently installed Socket I/O driver. When I uninstalled the driver, I got rid of the problem with the critical error.

Or it could be something newly installed on your pc that is coming into conflict with ActiveSync.

What has me doing a double-take is the error number. It's usually 678 in that error message.
