opera is very good, and could easily replace the IE4+NF3 combination!

what didn't work with the flashplayer 6.0 hack hosted on my site?

Well, as I recall, I could see some flash ads running, but, like the SciFi.com site with it's complicated flash menus, my Jornada would show the black box, but tapping on it would show nothing or the browser would stall.

Another site, LaRosas.com, (a local pizza parlor) is ALL flash. The background would appear, but nothing else.

I just chalked it up to device limitations and the complexity of the flash content I was trying to view, so I unistalled it. I never tried it with NetFront. Should it perform better than what I experienced? I'll give it another shot.

maybe the flash on those sites were using flash 7.0 or 8.0.

try netfront 3.3 though, it should have a flashplayer plugin.

Ah, well, I'm still using the Trial version of NetFront you have graciously provided. Flash and Java are disabled.

I've been holding off on getting the full version with the pssiblity of HPC Opera coming out, not only because I'm hoping it may be offered...um...free , but like you mentioned, it may perform better than PIE and NetFront combined.

that flash hack on your site, cmonex is fantastic!

I can even play games at addicting games .com with my J720!

I am DIEING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want opera on my hand held that bad. the mini version you got is.. erm.. a WAP browser. Probably not as good as PIE anyway..

Do you have any idea when full opera will be out? If it works I'd pay $20 for a beta!

No no one "made" a BETA of Opera, isotherm is making a Windows Mobile 2003 compatibility layer for HPCs, and Opera will work under that..

Yes, I have too.. What I said still applies.. It is a layer to run PPC apps, including Opera. Think of it as WINE for Linux, except for getting PPC apps on HPC..

As I said before, ask isotherm in #hpcdev on efnet in IRC if he's online.. I am almost positive that isotherm is still working on it .. Just be patient, I know he'll tell us when it's done..
