I work with GIS programs in my PC. There we make maps. I've on the road with my jornada 820, connected throug the serial adapter to a Magellan 330. It's great !!! I can save waypoint directly from my jornada and add it to a Arcview compatible shapefile. The ESRI software Arcpad is fantastic. It reads my GPS and constantly updates my position.

The problem with all ESRI products is that they are ridiculously priced and with a price tag of $499.00 USD - ArcPad is no exception.
