Senao NL-2511CD PLUS EXT2. ...OK...

Hello,first of all thank you for all the (custom) drivers in the site.

I´ve just successfully installed a Senao NL-2511CD, the PLUS EXT2.

After this,i installed the PLUS (without external antennas) but it seems a little more tricky,i supose i have to hard-reset the device and reinstall all packages again as i think,it has the same chip,please correct me if i am wrong.

I´ve got an old CE 2.0 device... guess!

Just pointed this to let you know, as i saw in the HCL this card was not tested under CE 2.0.

i don't know 100% sure which pcmcia senao i had workin on ce 2.0 (nec 750c), it was 1 year ago. but i think it was the same as yours with the external antenna. i needed to use the belkin driver and not the other one - actually both worked on the 750c but belkin seemed more stable.
(on an mc16 with a cf senao the belkin was the worse one )

in any case you can just insert the second card, and give it the driver name. that should work. can't remember now if the first card will still work afterwards - but probably it will.

without external antennas. i know most of these cards for for ap uses. how about the range?

Both work ok,the one with built in antenna and the other with two external connectors for antennas.

The one with external antenna has more power, 19db i think.

I think any prism card will work under CE 2.0 with the generic drivers.
I´ve tried 3 different models and all worked ok.

P.S. Here, in Spain, there is a 20 db limit for WIFI.

no not all prism cards will work but most of them will so try before buy maybe (if possible)
