| ntel PRO/Wireless 2011B CF on sig3
I know 2011b cf is a rebranded version of socket symbol card. It used to be working like a charm on my sig3 with a tweaked socket 2003 driver added with intel pnp id.
this solution was confirmed before by other pals in other forums.
today I hardset my sig3 and want to install a new system. But the same wifi card refused to work anymore. It repeatedly said cannot connect to my open ap. The signal is 0 even when I am sitting by my ap.
The card still works like a charm in my ce211 hpc with symbol driver and intel pnpid just like before. It works in a few rooms away from my ap as before. In the past, it had the same performance on s3. but not now.
Why? Sig3 has a working cf slot. My wired lan card still works great on it.
tested. I installed all important updates from ntt inluding a cf update sdio update and usb update. Still no luck.
