you mean wisbar makes for a buggy login?
Advice, can I use it with V1 ROM? I'll have a go at hacking a desktop theme up today

Gigabar 1.59 from downloads
That's pretty much locked up my 620LX. Since installing (from extracted CABs, since the serial cable is still in the mail ), Windows Explorer pretty much just doesn't work - it opens, but takes forever to display anything, and doesn't seem to be able to bring up the contents of the control panel or Windows folder. I'm trying to bring up the Windows folder one last time, but figure I'll have to hard reset to fix this. |

| encore: of course you can use it on rom v1.0. requires coredl2 and mfcce301. in rom v1.5 only mfcce301, probably.
i meant it was hard to log in (i got logged off somehow). |

| awh thx, gettin a bit off topic but they say it take half the time you were seeing someone to get over them
Cmonex, I think I've given up already on the skinning thing, Wisbar doesn't skin the scrollbars and menus and I can't get the original pocketblinds to run on my 900c as it just crashes |

There's a new version of PocketBlinds in the making. It won't be compatible with PPC2000/2002 however, just WM2003 and higher (which shouldn't be too much of a problem for ce 4.2 devices ). |

| mscdex, cool yeah I'd had a look around and saw that Lakeridge had taken over the development of pocketblinds
I'd assumed that it wasn't going very far as Stardock seemed to have passed the license over some time ago but obviously I was wrong
My thinking is that skinning can look very cool and the desktop windowsblinds is suprising in its abilities to change dialogues etc. but sadly the 900c doesn't have 2gb of RAM to throw about on an additional layer of visuals And I'm clueless as to how to alter the shell like the clever folok around these parts can... |
