Is there any software that may accept GPS Garmin maps on CE.NET 4.2? There are certain locations where Garmin Maps are the only available road maps.

Thanks

I tried like the dickens to find for NAVTEQ, but no luck.

Painfully, I created a JPEG from an online map provided by my local county, And I used OziExplorer to coordinate the map. Worked not too bad, considering it was a road map for my entire county. Long, drawn out exercise, though, considering the map was on 8.5x11 PDF sheets with match lines. 132 sheets in all, to be exact.

Hi,

GISRussa (www.gisrussa.com) works with Garmin .img map-files! I carry topographic maps of The Netherlands with me on my netBook Pro (and iPAQ) and this works great!

For most parts of the world .img maps are available.

Good luck!

Wouter
