Hello,

I use Cisco Aeronet 350 with Jornada 680e without any problems. Here's what I did:

+ Install ActiveSync 3.7.
+ Connect 680e to my XP PC using provided serial cable and confirmed connection.
+ Download Cisco Driver from on your PC:
http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/Software/Tablebuild/doftp.pl?ftpfile=cisco/crypto/3DES/wireless/aironet/utilities/ce/21/WinCE211-PCMCIA-LMC-v223.exe&swtype=FCS&software_products_url=%2Fpcgi-bin%2Ftablebuild.pl%2Faironet-utils-ce21&isChild=&appName=&tbtype=aironet-utils-ce21

Note: Also, download corrosponding PDF file for useful driver installation instructions.

+ Double click on installation file for drive which fires up installation of drivers, etc. through ActiveSync on your 680e.

At the end, it asked me to replace one of the DLLs on 680e (forgot the name) which I said go ahead to replace w/ new one.

+ Run Cisco Aeronet client utility. I set SSID field to correct value (depends on your router and/or access point). For Linksys, the default value is "linksys".

+ Under Control Panel/Network Configuration, click on Identification tab. Make sure there is no User/Password listed.

Rest I left as it was as I use DHCP (no need to specify static IP,etc.).

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions on this card.

Regards,
Thanks in advance.

The HPC2000 drivers are a tad,er, less than optimal in my experience. Sometimes I would get an IP address, other times I wouldn't. Lights would flash, but no-one was home, so to speak.

Following Clinton's advice, I used the WinCE2.11 drivers from Cisco.

No problems, everything works hunky dory.

Drop down to the 2.11 drivers and my guess is that things will be better.

Please do not dredge threads that are older than a couple of months. Equally, this is about Aironet 350's not 340's. Please search the forum.
