Hello,

I have a Jornada 690 with CE 2.11; Labtop with Windows XP Prof. SP2; Office 2003 Prof. SP1;
IE 6.0 SP2; and use for Synchronising Active Sync 3.8.

I intend to change to Office 2007 Prof. and IE 7.0, Others unchanged.

Any idea if Synchronising will still work?

Thanks for help

No problems with IE7, you ActiveSYnc will convert office documents into the 2000 document standards, not the new 2007 ones. So there *may* be a need to save documents down as 2000 compatible. Other than that, you are good to go.

Don't forget to get Office 2003 SP2 if you don't jump ship!!

Hello Amie,

is my understanding correct that “Active Sync”
should correctly work even if I change the
a) IE to Vers. 7.0, and
b) Office Prof. to Vers. 2007
Exept “may” need to save doc’s as 2000 compatible.

Best rgds
GNA

PS: Will make new installation for testing at a separate
Labtop. Will in the meantime change Office 2003 Pro
to SP2 at my main Labtop. Thks for yr advise.
