I have some parts left over from my well chronicled 680e-690 swap...
Now that my one of a kind Jornada 685 is complete, I have no use for the surplus. I was originally going to sell the entire unit (I guess it would be the second 685 in existence), but I do not feel comfortable providing any sort of warranty implied or otehrwise...
So, I have.... PARTS! Who needs them?
680e Keyboard (extre keys on the 680e!)
680 Memory Module
690 Chassis/body/motherboard/screen (only issue is the crack on the bottom which essentially kills the CF slot)
680e Dutch Railways False bottom
As assembled, this thing currently works on AC power with no issue, but battery power appears to be an issue. Screen is actually in a little better condition than mine, but I don't want to risk this surgery.
I am not looking to get rich or take advantage, so if you have any interest, PM me and we'll work something out.
