All of a sudden, my usb mouse has quit working. In addition when I try to sync to computer I get error 608 remote networking cannot start and cannot connect to computer . No active sync connection. When I hit active sync connection it comes up with error message. Any suggestions, Did not change anything on the machine was just working with it and suddenly mouse not working. Have tried other mouse, same results. Can the USB connections have died or is this a software problem. I have soft reset, but fear to try and do hard reset, ie take out batteries, as I can not restore with out sync connection.

I'm not so sure it is a common problem, I mean I've never had a USB port fail yet, not permanently. I have installed software that has caused it to do what you say however. For me, the only option was to hard reset my device and to create a new partnership in Activesync. That resolved everything for me.
