Tomtom on Netbook Pro

I have seen Netbook Pro units running fine with Tomtom 5 Navigator. I have since got the software but installation isn't as easy as it seems. Could anyone please help by directing me the steps to get it running? Thanks

I have TomTom 5 running fine on my netBook Pro. I installed GAPI from wincesoft.de first and this is used when I run TomTom. See

As I recall, all that was then required was the TomTom activation code process.

I would caution that the netBook Pro screen isn't really bright enough for easy daytime use in a car.

Also the installation is a bit quirky on the 900c ( might apply to netbook also). In order for me to get tomtom to work, i had to put the tomtom directory in the root of the storage card. Then copy all the maps i use also to the root directory of the storage card.

e.g.
\Storage Card\tomtom
\Storage Card\WI_MI_MN

Start tomtom and go through the setup. Done.
