| It is not ready yet: I am still improving some details. I will release an "alpha version" in a few days ( probably at the end of this week). |

| As promised you can download an alpha version here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CS47RXJR
or here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/27023536/XP_Royale_0.1.rar.html
Sorry for the file download options: this is only a temporary version anyway.
Read the Readme file carefully, and use this skin at your own risk.
(Edit: Download links changed: the first version was in French, sorry ) Edited by Geared2003 2007-04-20 3:03 PM

| Macmee, just rename coredll.dll.0409.mui, explorer.exe.0409.mui and ceshell.dll.0409.mui: change the "mui" extension to "bak"; also rename gwes.exe and commctrl.dll to *.bak. Reset your device, and then uninstall the package; delete all *.bak files and reinstall the new package. |

| I just noticed something. Every time I let it turn off by itself it doesn't turn back on and I need to do hard reset! So just wanted to tell everyone that.
Still love the skin though. It is awsome (like me )
Thanks

| Wrong guess, Cmonex...
I used the attached utility (floatme.exe ) which allows overlapped windows with ANY Windows CE application: see the screenshots.
Hint: with some applications, you have to run Floatme twice to show the title bar (with other applications, it is enough to run it once ). You can also map a hardware button to active floatme very easily. | thanks , that clears things up a bit. the skin is running great on my 900c. I havent had any major problems with it so far. |
|
|
|
| hmmm... the floatme program is pretty cool, but seems rather difficult just to get the title bar to show. Can you not show the title bar by default, or is there a program that is shows it automatically? |

-the other side effects are not so good: there are no more sounds when tapping the screen ( I personally don't care ), and Nyditot Virtual Display doesn't work anymore ( I used NVD rarely anyway...).
nyditot works fine with this gwes on my custom rom.
just use nyditot 4.23 or similar, this is the version i have so i tried that and it works. i can set any resolution etc at will. |
