| I am looking for a handful of people to do some testing, checking and provide feedback/ideas on a little something which is nearly ready.
I am looking for serious people only please. If we get to the end of the road and I haven't heard anything from you I shall not be best pleased!
It wont take you long to skim through it. Let's say "under an hour" start to end of the process.
Criterion:
- Not a staffer (you can get to it anyway )
- Must be a registered HPC:Factor Forums member
- Needs to use / have access to "an array" of web browsers
- Accepts that this is a beta and a privilege, as such understands that they're not to discuss it with other people - whether they are board members, friends, family, lovers or blackmailing you (or not! )
If you're interested please reply with the browsers you have at your disposal. I will PM you if interested.
Thanks! |

| If it helps, you can have multiple versions of IE on the same PC. Details here.
I've got 3.0, 4.01, 5.01 SP2, 5.5 SP2, 6.0 SP1 and 7.0 on this PC. Edited by Spiny 2007-04-30 6:23 AM

| You didn't specify...web browser on your desktop or web browser on your handheld...I take nothing for granted...

| Anything is fine, if it works on 2.11 I would consider it a bonus. I expect the back-end to operate fine on hpc2000 and higher - cosmetic wise could be a different matter. Are you signing on Rich?
If so I'll be content with you five - particuarly interested to see how things go on a Mac, which I don't have here at home. |

| I guess that answers my question Chris..I wanted to know if you were asking for a variety of web browser for a desktop or your were interested in a variety for HPCs.
Sure sign me up...only an hour or so...no problem.

If that's directed at me, that's because I'm a lazy unreliable git so I'm not volunteering.
The post was for info only.
If you twist my arm hard enough, I also have Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Opera 9.02 on XP, and IE something on WM 5.1.195 as well as my desktop IE farm on XP. I can dig out a WinCE 4 PPC at work as well if I have to.
Oh yeah, IE on my trusty 720 (well, one of them ), as if there's going to be a shortage of those here...
I can get my hands on my brother's old 690 as well.
I'll do it if you particularly need it tested on one of these browsers and no-one else has one, but otherwise I'm just too unreliable. |
