pencentra 200 hard reset

Just got a pen200 -new to this- hpc2000. I've lost the screen-said something about a .dll error and now it won't come on - can't sync it - Help!! -How do I get it back - How do you do a hard reset?

just take the main battery bout for about 5 mins.

With the battery off & no power running to it, On the back of the pencentra there is a large access door, unscrew it and take it off, you will see the memory and rom etc, on the upper right hand side you will see a little metal colored tab, press it for a sec or 2, that cuts the internal back up battery's power so it can hard reset with out waiting for the back up to discharge...
