| sorry but that was an overkill. leave all that alone, just coredll has a problem, the rest is fine for sure.
use my coredll from my coredlls.zip on my site (hpcmonex.net), folder 10th is the recommended coredll!
rename it to coredl2.dll. use execheck to rewrite the dll. then see if tomtom launches.
which PNA does your friend have? what did you use to dump the rom, bkondisk/bksamsung? where is the rom?
also, do you have an aygshell in rom on your pna?
.....if execheck doesn't report any problems, then it is a sophisticated coredll or maybe aygshell error probably. to fix that you either need to change coredll/etc in rom or find another way to load your own coredll in place of the original (that is hard to do..or impossible).

I'll try your DLLs as soon as I'll can.

| did you also put in a coredl2.dll file? |
|
|
|
| first of all there was a missing dll wininet.dll after putting dll in tomtom directory it runs.
after that i put coredl2.dll in tomtom dir and change tomtom.exe file. then it fail to run at all. I use coredll.dll number #10 it's for CE 4.2 maybe thats the problem.

i try your coredll.dll but it didn't help
is there any way to debug .exe file in WinCE?
i try to figure out that is the root cause of failure.
Baikal finds the way to help TomTom works, may be it helps you to know that is the problem is
What works most of the time :
1. Launch TomTom.
2. Wait until signal is acquired.
3. Tap on button to turn screen off.
4. Tap on button to turn screen on.
5. Menu starts working.
strange behaiver. |

without source code, you can use a disassembler to debug like IDA's wince debugger. |
