| Ok, The idea is DEAD but not anymore, I have just found some source for the Mozilla ActiveX, The HTML displaying one, if anyone knows how to Compile ActiveX's (CE ones ) this is your chance to push the Web Browser Development forward.
Heres the url for the ActiveX:
http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/control.htm#progress
If we compile this to CE if we know only little Visual Basic, C, or anyother ActiveX useable language we can make a FireFox V. 1.02 like browser to our design!

| I just downloaded the firefox source yesteryday, haven't look into it yet. ActiveX ... hmmm ... if I can get the ActiveX in CE format, coding it will be a breeze in either VC or VB ... easier ... much easier in VB!
but since it does not have a workspace/project ready for embedded Visual Tools, it may mean some rebuilding of a workspace/project in eVT before the source can be imported to build an ActiveX control.
I have VS6.0 and VS.NET ent, so I may try buidling it for win32 first. If that works fine, I'll see what can be done to do it for HPC platform.
Wish me luck ... and no neck pains! |
