Visual Basic Runtime redistributables are available for Windows CE 2.0, 2.11, 3.00 and WM platforms.
The Windiws CE 2.0 redistributable supports the older Visual Basic Toolkit 6.0 Pocket Visual Basic (.PVB) runtime.
The runtime for Windows CE 2.11 and higher supports the newer eMbedded Visual Basic (.VB) format.
Please be aware that not all .pvb / .vb files are compatible across device versions. For example, the .PVB runtime is not available in ARM. Equally, not every Windows CE 3.0 VB program can be launched under Windows CE 2.11. Consequntly while the file may be a common executable format (CEF), it may not be possible to run it on every device as the runtime is OS/CPU dependent.
