Hi. I tried installing the Agere driver, on my Pencentra, for my wireless card and I get to the install screen and all but it doesn't progress and I have to reset the device to get rid or the screen. I used wireless.R4100 (the only one that works, for me at least). Any ideas or other drivers I could use?

This is one of the apparent drawbacks of the PenCentra - several people (including myself) have been unable to install the Agere driver on the PenCentra (both the H/PC Pro and H/PC 2000 versions - I have the latter). There've been a few other threads on this in the forums. Only one user (Ceya) has reported installing the driver successfully.

You shouldn't have a problem with Prism-based cards.

I'm selling two Prism based cards, starting price is minimal

Different hardware which requires a different driver to work properly.

It appears that Dekanex has gotten the Proxim version of the Agere driver installed, but I don't think that supports H/PC Pro.

If you get a Prism-based card, you can use this driver:

http://www.hpcfactor.com/support/cesd/h/0028.asp

Use the link 1.07.24.1025 under H/PC Pro.

actually the 1.07.24 isn't necessarily best for hpc pro especially MIPS (it is for hpc2000 ARM)

but that said, I found that there is always one for each combination of OS and CPU and etc that works.
