Can't recall if it was on this forum or the BrightHand one, but I remember somebody (perhaps "halljames"?) mentioning that video was surprisingly disappointing on the NetBook Pro. I know that Rich Hawley at HPCNET found video to be not so great on the NEC 900C's DSTN screen, but I thought the NetBook would have been better.

Can anybody comment or suggest a workaround solution? Thanks.

Try Betaplayer, together with my app, PocketDVD (www.pocketdvd.ca)

there is even a review on this site that gives you more details about the optimisations for DSTN screens.

I love watching movies on my NEC MP900, even more then on the more then capable ipaq 2210 I used to use before it.

It's all a matter of the framerate.
