I've downloaded USBdriver (from HPC Factror forum) but I cannot Active Sync with Netbook Pro. It seems that windows (XP) dosen't recognize driver (after reset and pluging in the cable) . In the document from Psion I found that they are using version H174f of drivers (from CD). Is there anyone with original CD for Netbook pro?

If it works, it's news to me. Not having that elusive Psion serial cable, I've had to rely on IrDA for the first sync after hard reset, and LAN thereafter.

Which USB driver have you downloaded? I don't actually have a USB driver for the Psion in H/PC:Update... probably for a reason.

If we can sort this out, I can get it added to H/PC:Update.

I've downloaded USB driver from Linux on netbook working distro (page 23) called USBSetup_3.1.375_C217m . I think it's not specifically for Netbook Pro, the one in the manual is - version H174f.

When you connect the NBP, open device manager and have a look. Is the NBP entry listed as unknown/uninstalled hardware?

Hi,
If you check out the post here:
http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=14073
I posted some tips for connecting the Netbook Pro.
It looks like you have the same driver that is available from the Psion site, but this might help.

One other thing that it took me a minute to figure out, once the USB drivers are installed, on the Netbook Pro, go to "Settings-->Control Panel-->PC Connection" and set it to connect via the USB cradle.

I tried Serial and USB Cradle options , It looks like it's not installing drivers.

I found drivers with netbook pro install option, but it doesn't work (at least I couldn't make it to work).
Anyone would like to try it?

At last (but not least) I found proper drivers for Netbook Pro and Active sync. I tested them and they are working great.
