Hi, nw00--welcome here. Could you tell us a little about what pocketTag-CE will do?

Thanks,
Jake

Well i just made yet another one.

Works on both wm8650 tablets and netbooks (7", 8" and 10" screens).

Full working touch screen (see readme.txt), touchpad, keyboard, mouse, ethernet, wifi, basic bluetooth (tested with bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse), hot-plugging, auto-mounting, and sound is finally working the way it should.

You get gnome, nautilus, metacity combo for a desktop environment, epiphany and firefox web browsers, gnome-games suite, doom, mplayer, totem, xmms, abiword, gnumeric, gedit, midnight commander, htop, gimp, evince, lighttpd and a bunch of other stuff preinstalled.

Extra packages are available via the angstrom repositories by using opkg. (see readme.txt)

Download: http://www.woofiles.com/dl-281732-wvpYN2sj-wm8650AngstromGnome.tar.bz2 (235mb)

Cheers

Great stuff, RTFM. Though I don't own this machine, I downloaded the Angstrom tar and had a look-see through the readme. Looks wonderful.

Is this an ARM setup, and if so, there was a freeware Textmaker for Linux/ARM (I can send it to you). Would some form of Textmaker work here? I know there's an offshoot of Angstrom for Zaurus, but don't know whether the Textmaker ipk for Zaurus ever worked on Angstrom. Please PM if you need any files for testing.

Had a bit of trouble with song playing order in mediaPlayer, orders by mp3Tag-title, there were no tag editors. Will post a good version after i get my 8650 running.
