Need for Speed on Jornada 720

Hello friends,

I'm trying to find cool games to play on my old J720 in an attempt to "undust" it

According to this post: https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=5361&sta... someone was able to run NFS on the Jornada in 2006. It turns out that this game is now available on Archive.org: https://archive.org/details/nfs-high-stakes-ppc

I installed it on my CF card but can't find a way to run it. Using Redgear + WinCE GAPI it opens for a second and then closes. Tried some Aygshells from cmonex website but the ones I tried only give back an illegal instruction error. Any tips? Were you guys able to run this on your jornadas back then?

Have you tried checking the .exe to Executability Check or Dependency Walker to see if there's a certain .dll required?

Yes. It only complains about aygshell. Tried with different versions of aygshell and/or redgear but they all end in crash or silent exit (program runs and exits one second later with no popups or errors)

instal the game delete the gx.dll and put the agyshell.dll in the instalation folder.. i also now have racingsdays working.. i have the full version and fifa 2000, street duel.. only street duel doesnt have the option for left handed so it is upside down.. verry sadly because it is an owesome game..

edit: if there is interest i would make sreens

That's the first thing I tried. The point is that I don't know which aygshell works on it. I grabbed a bunch from cmonex website, tested a couple and none of them worked. I guess the next step is to try them all
