| I feel like this is probably pretty obvious but I'm coming up short on forum search and SCL search. Where do you get a copy of toolhelp.dll?
I'm trying to use the itaskmgr and the emacs port and I think they're both missing toolhelp.dll but I can't find it anywhere :-/
Sorry for the noob question. |

| Hi which device do you have?
I believe this dll file is tied to the particular processor architecture (I.e. arm,mips,sh3,sh4,x86)
I don’t have an answer on where that dll is yet but knowing which you have can help focus to see exactly which file you need. |

| Thanks. I seem to have found a copy using the wayback machine to get to cmonex' old site where he had a copy of it:

| Another (related) question. I notice that the emacs archive in the SCL appears to be incomplete. We have the architecture specific files but not emacs-wince-all-platforms.tar.gz which is the common files for all platforms required to run.
Anybody know where to get a copy of emacs-wince-all-platforms.tar.gz?
(NOTE: Not architecture dependent) |

p.s. Do you have emacs working by chance? |

| Hey! It's working tyvm
I got the common files from compaq-tools (https://web.archive.org/web/20010605085414if_/http://www.rainer-keuchel.de:80/wince/wince-compaq-tools.tar.gz ) and manually editing the registry to add the paths!
Edit: not complete success however, the thing went haywire on exit and I had to hard reset but it's a start Edited by thenzero 2022-11-13 11:52 PM

| Unfortunately I have no experience with these. I just located some for the SCL. Let me know if there’s any other files I need to add to make it complete (I may add your instructions too with your permission) |

| Ah I see. In that case, thanks for your work on this! I will get back and let you know if I get it working well and what I have to do so you can update accordingly.
Note: this will be specific to my architecture because the common files contain precompiled binaries for the helper utilities! It's pure luck that the one for my architecture was the only one in the wayback machine archive! |

| Yes please do and let me know if there’s specific file names you’re looking for. I’ll do my best to help. What architecture are you on ?
Thanks again ! |
