IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOSH
I regsvr'd everything and IT WORKS

It was indeed the fact that the intermec runs on mips 3k and needed the appropriate DLLs. Thank you so so much for helping me out
I think it would probably be good if we added the mips 3k runtime to the SCL too

Sounds like I have forgotten to make and release some CAB's for MIPS 3k somewhere! At least my theory about that wasn't completely crazy!

What missing library is it complaining about?

No, your theory was completely correct
It was complaining about the image control, I just regsvr'd that in so it should be fine

Did you use the MIPS39xx or the MIPS39xx.b versions?

I think you'll find that the MIPS39xx ones are the debug symbols release, the smaller MIPS39xx.b ones are likely the release ones (they're the same size as the release MIPS4k anyway, not double the size).

Here is a test installer for the VBCE 2.0 runtime for MIPS3k. Perhaps you'd test it for me please?

Thanks

Edit:

I've added the MIPS3k CAB's to
https://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/1982/Microsoft_Corporation/Visual_Basic_CE_2.0_Runtime
https://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/1983/Microsoft_Corporation/Visual_Basic_CE_2.0_Runtime_Core

as well as to the EN zip version
https://www.hpcfactor.com/downloads/2813/HPCFactor_Microsoft_Visual_Basic_Runtime_Redistributable_EN

Unfortunately, there are no MIPS3k versions of pvbkill.exe that I can see.

I haven't gotten to trying it out yet because I'm partially using the 6651 to study for upcoming exams, but I will let you know as soon as I've gotten to try out the .cab! Apologies
