| Are there ways of improving the MP3 sound quality on a HPC Pro device?
I'm basically talking about my Hitachi Eplate with the rare sh4 processor and can only work with the HUM player. But also the sound quality on my Casio PA-2400W sucks.
I'm listening to the Eplate now. It isn't as terrible as the Casio. But far from stereo quality. Would it help hooking up little stereo boxes like we do with the desktops? What are good small ones that are portable with the device in a case?
Is there a pocket radio for HPC Pro devices? |

| iBIZ pocket RADIO will work with CE 2.11 devices with a little hacking - I've gotten it working. But it only has MIPS and ARM builds, so while it may work in the PA-2400W, it won't work in the ePlate unless someone can compile an SH4 version. The unit is a CF receiver with a 3.5mm stereo-out jack. I have a couple of pairs of Monster Cable stereo speakers that work impressively for their size - closed up, the speaker set looks like a double-CD case. See this thread:

| At Ebay, most of them are more money than at the site you linked, CEGeek. Hah! |

| You mean pocket RADIO, or the speakers? (iBIZ itself was offering some of the former on eBay for $10 a pop last year. )
EDIT: For pocket RADIO, check this out:

| Thanks. The listing didn't state what systems it is compatible with. |

| There's only one CF version. However, I forgot that the PA-2400W is an SH3 device, so it won't work with it. Sorry for getting your hopes up. |

| So it won't work on my PocketPC sh3 Jornada 547, but would work on the Dell Axim x5 with ARM/Xscale? |

| I originally got it for my Axim, before I rediscovered the H/PC. So yes, it'll work. |

| Yup.
Here's a list of the devices I have where I've got it working:
NEC 790, 800, "890"
Jornada 728
Intermec 6651
Casio E-15 and E-105
Compaq Aero 1550
Dell Axim X5
Haven't tried it on my Clio or my BE-300 yet, but I expect it'll work on both. Anything MIPS or ARM running CE 2.11 or higher. |

| CEGeek, what kind of reception do you get with this Pocket Radio? How do you scan and choose the radio stations? |
