Description

NS Basic/CE is a complete BASIC toolkit that lets you program on a Windows CE device or on your desktop. It uses Microsoft's standard VBScript engine as its core, combined with extensions to create a complete development and runtime environment.

NS Basic/CE provides a full, modern (for its time) implementation of BASIC, with proper subroutines, variant data types and no line numbers. VBScript is built into the ROM of many Windows CE devices, keeping memory requirements low. Applications you create are freely distributable and are write once, run anywhere.

System Requirements

NSBasic_CE_v8.exe is a complete installation of NS Basic/CE version 8. You will need Activesync installed to transfer the runtime and (optionally) device IDE to your HPC.

Serial number (required to register the IDE): L55-400-93W

Compatibility:
NS Basic/CE v8 dropped support for older versions of Windows CE. It supports devices using Windows CE 4.2 and later. Pocket PC 2003 and all Windows Mobile devices with touchscreens are supported, as well as Windows Mobile Embedded devices.
