Ng Windows CE Version
Ng for WinCE is Ng 1.3 MS-DOS version (ported by Shigeki Yoshida) on Windows CE.
This document has been ported. This document contains information specific to Ng for WinCE.

Differences from Ng 1.3 MS-DOS version

o Do not create backup files
o There are no process startup or SHELL-related functions.
o Toggle on/off of KanjiIn type FEP with M-SPC
How to create an executable format
You can create an executable format using the following steps.
(Procedures may vary depending on the development environment)

o Extract NG13L_1.LZH to an appropriate directory
o Extract the Ng for WinCE sources to the same directory
o patch < ce.pat to patch the original source
o Open NG.DSW from Developer Studio
o Build
Notes on creating executable format
Do not #define KBD_BIOS in config.h
Do not #define NO_BACKUP in config.h
Do not #define NO_SHELL in config.h

System Requirements

Ng for WinCE can be operated in the following environments.

CPU: SH3, MIPS
OS: Windows CE V1.0 (English version), V2.0 (English version)
*Operation with Windows CE V1.01 (Japanese version) and V2.0 (Japanese version) has not been confirmed.

RAM: Approximately 200K bytes of program area and storage area
DLL: KCTRL.DLL

Ng for WinCE consists of the executable format for SH3, the executable format for MIPS, and the source of Ng for WinCE.

4. Installation method
Please transfer NG.EXE to one of the following folders on your Windows CE machine.

o \ (root folder)
o \Windows
o \Storage Card

Please transfer NG.INI to one of the following folders on your Windows CE machine.

o \ (root folder)
o \Storage Card

Run NG.EXE using {Start}-{Run...} or Explorer.
You can also terminate it with Ctrl-X Ctrl-C.
