Description

English User Interface Conversion for HPC2000 device

Description:
-this installer changes approx. 95% of the original UI into English
-Bonus: new look-and-feel for HPC2000 (Ce.net style shell)

The MUI specifically addresses:
Windows CE Shell & System Dialogues
Windows Explorer iconography & names
Internal Flash Storage name, Compact Flash Name
System Folder Names (except “Favorites”, which is hard coded in Pocket IE)
Populates the desktop with icons
Regenerates the yen symbol (¥) with backslash in addresses
Removes the Japanese IME



Warning:
- this installer changes dialogs , menus, etc. but also the name of all shell folders except the “Favorites” folder due to some compatibility problems ( it is the first japanese folder, in Windows, if you arrange Folders by Name : do not delete it!) : all other Japanese system folders in “\Windows” may be safely deleted.
- due to the important changes in the OS, it is highly recommended to backup your device first, and make a hard reset to install this package on a "clean device". In any case, if you installed any previous beta version, you MUST uninstall it first.
-Use only with a Sigmarion 2 or a Japanese HPC2000 device

Limitations and known issues:

- No known issues; all bugs from previous beta versions have been successfully removed.

English User Interface for foreign language HPC2000 devices (separate cab files for European/Japanese devices)

Installation Instructions

-Instructions:

Copy the CAB file and run it on your device. When prompted, replace all existing files. Soft-Reset. Enjoy.
