Internet Mail Module

The following phenomenon will be improved in MG mail installed in MobileGear II MC-R550.

·When receiving unread emails from the mail server, the [Receive Mail] dialog
The number of unread emails displayed in may be incorrect (displayed as a negative number).

By incorporating this module, data storage in Mobile Gear II built-in RAM is possible.
It consumes approximately 120KB of memory.

This software can be installed in two ways.

1. How to download directly to Mobile Gear II
2. After downloading to your computer, import it to Mobile Gear II via ActiveSync.

1. How to download directly to Mobile Gear II

(1) Save R550_Inetmail.CAB to Mobile Gear II\My Handheld PC\Program Files
Download it to the folder.

*The downloaded file (R550_Inetmail.CAB) will be displayed once the installation is complete.
It will be deleted automatically, so please copy it to a memory card etc. for backup purposes.

(2) Close all Mobile Gear II applications.

(3) From the Mobile Gear II start button, select [Start]-[Program]-[Execution]
Select [Explorer] to start Explorer and open the \Program Files folder.

(4) Double-tap R550_Inetmail.CAB.

(5) "MC/R550 Internet Mail Module Up..." will be displayed.
Press the [OK] button.

Note: This dialog box is used to specify the installation directory.
Although it is the one, press the [OK] button without entering anything in the [Name] part.

(6) The "Installation has been completed" screen will be displayed, so click the [OK] button.

(7) "MC/R550 Internet mail module update version (R1.01) is included
The "Uploaded" screen will be displayed, so press the [OK] button.

(8) Reset the main unit.
