The SunVox multi-track music synthesiser has been updated to version 2.1.1.

The multi platform (Windows CE, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android) music composition application allows you to create, sample and export musical compositions on the go directly from your mobile device. We last reported on the release of version 2.1 back in March and here, a few months later the newest update landed on 11st October 2023.

The changelog for the update is quite comprehensive and technical, but highlights include bug fixes, support for 64-bit WAV/AIFF, OGG (Vorbis), MP3, FLAC in samples, among other new features. The website for the changelog will detail everything.

Windows CE support is currently limited to only ARM based devices, with assumed platform support for Windows CE 3.0 and higher.

While SunVox is freeware with the developer seeking donations to help support his efforts, so if you like the program, please do consider donating!

[Update 2023-11-09] A 2.1.1b bug fix release is now available that fixes an issue with saving OGG samples
