Microsoft has gone overboard on updates for Microsoft Office and Works this month. The updates in this cycle are for Office 2000, XP (2002) and 2003 and include updates for:

• Word
• Excel
• Outlook
• PowerPoint
• Excel Viewer 2003
• Works 2000 - 2006
• Office for Mac 2004 and X

It is important for H/PC users to keep up-to-date with Office updates, particularly if using Microsoft Outlook as a conduit to transport important PIM data to and from your Handheld PC. As with every Microsoft update, HPC:Factor has updated the associated in-house patching guide to reflect all updates release within this month - though the Office Patches Guide does not cover Microsoft Works. It is recommended that all Office users follow either our guide, or visit Office Update/Microsoft Update to ensure that they are up-to-date and secure.
