![]() German Mobile Application developer SoftMaker are rejoicing in what is bound to become an even bigger success for the company as the year progresses.
As anticipation has built over the months the excitement has grown in all area of the Windows CE community. Not just with us here in the Handheld PC community, but within the mobile device communities that make up the world of Windows CE. SoftMaker have slowly but surely provided us with more and more information on what promises to be one of the most anticipated software release in Mobile Device history. PlanMaker. Last night, a rather excited SoftMaker issued a release explaining that they had been so overwhelmed with pre-release orders for PlanMaker that they had to admit to experiencing a backlog in handling order requests. For anyone who has somehow managed to escape the last 10 months. PlanMaker - in short - takes the power of Microsoft Excel (and similar) and places it on a whole array of Mobile Devices, including the Handheld PC as well as on the PC. All at an affordable price. SoftMaker issued a revised final public preview of PlanMaker earlier in the week ushering in the final days before release.
